Anyways….enough of that dribble.

Ok, so my mum & dad decide to order a brand spanking new telly from Argos a few weeks ago. That decided to show up last monday. So i get woken up at 8am on my day off college……just for the geezer at Argos to ring up at 11:30 to tell me it was coming at 12 – 12:30…..I was sooo annoyed, i could have been doing better things in that 4 hours like sleeping.

When it actually came, the guy who delivered it tried acting all big and hard by carrying it on his shoulder with 1 hand……i was like…..dude, im a guy, not a girl, you dont need to impress me. Nevertheless, he also did this with the stand. Once he had finished showing off, he made me sign dozens of forms.

After that, i decided to have a go at assembling the stand, so i unboxed it, took the manual out just to find out that it contained a picture of every item that was included, and a picture of the final product. No instructions came with it (great)

In all fairness, i didnt do that bad with it, only errors i made were that i put the bottom level of the stand upside down and the backboard the wrong way round (so thats why the middle bit didnt fit). It only took me around 2 hours of constant temper outbreaks and alot of swearing (mainly directed to the company for providing no fucking instructions)

The rest, i decided to leave to my dad…i mean how cruel would that be doing ALL the work and leaving nothing for my dad to break. And besides, its funny watching him try to assemble things, he swore more than me.

After that painstaking challenge, onto assembling the telly (just needed to put the support thingy on it)

Toshiba must have thought it was funny to provide us with a telly support thingy that didnt fit out telly )it was only made for upto 36″, we bought a 42″) so that went back, apparently we will be getting the new ones tomorrow.

Worst thing is, because Argos & Toshiba screwed up, my mum and dad literally forced me to lend them my telly for the week, i have a 26″ widescreen HDTV, so that meant a week with just my laptop for when i have nothing to do.

Morale of the story….Don’t buy a telly from Argos

But there is one website that, in my opinion, is the most disturbing out there. That one is: www.icanhascheezburger.com

This is possibly the most pointless and stupidest website i have ever strayed across. Everytime somebody accesses that site, a brain cell dies.

That said, i must feel sorry for the guy(s) who created it. They obviously look like they have been rejected from society and confined to a small, dark corner where they can masturbate over their cat pictures before adding a daft caption to it and uploading it.

Apparently, the poor cats featured are in fact called LOLCATS << wtf?. That in its own right sounds like something even Dr Suess wouldn’t dream of thinking up.

But suprisingly, the website seems really popular (why?) with each ‘LOLCAT’ getting 2 -5,000 views each. Either im just missing something, or people get beyond the bored mark at work or school.

In all true fairness, i think that the guys who made this site need to be introduced to a girl, maybe just for 5 minutes
